About me and my new venture

At home parties are all the rage and especially now that so many people just don't have the time to organize a party on their own, yet they love the idea of inviting their friends and family around for a cosy and fun time.

I am a Jamie At Home Consultant in the Deal area of South-East Kent and it incorporates the things I love. These include cooking, hosting, having fun, helping and inspiring people to cook healthy meals for their families in addition to having my own business with some support. With this new venture I can do as little or as much as I want to, as long as I put in the necessary work to make it happen. It means that I can talk about cooking and learn new things for myself through the famous chef himself, Jamie Oliver, who's DVDs give us a few minutes of cookery demonstrations to view at the parties. I get the chance to meet my friends for cosy evenings and meet new people who are interested in these same loves of mine. As far as the business is concerned I am pleased to promote a chef who has brought back cooking healthy food to English tables. I am also able to use my computer and marketing skills at the same time as receiving support and further training.

I take the products to the customers, saving them having to get to the shops and with such a great range of products, the catalogue makes great browsing from your armchair! I also do all the hard work of organizing the evening or daytime event. All the host has to do is invite the guests and provide a few drinks and nibbles.

The Party Idea Plan

for a cosy evening or an engaging coffee morning

Sometimes it helps to have a focal point for a party when we want an excuse to get our friends and family together.

When I do a party I allow my prospective host to choose a day and time to suit them. After all, they are the ones who will be making their homes available and wanting to invite as many guests as possible. Just as Jamie Oliver believes, the party should be fun, just as he portrays cooking to be.

The host will invite their guests and lay on some drinks and nibbles. In the warmer months the party might take place outside in the garden or inside in the warmth when it is cold. The addition of candles help to create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. During certain holidays and seasons the room might be decorated accordingly, but all the while keeping the table with the display of products the central theme.

One or two fun party games will be played to help everyone to relax. Usually these are played sitting down when space is limited.

Introducing The products

Once everyone has relaxed, the products and indeed myself will be introduced and then Jamie Oliver's cookery demonstration will be viewed for a few minutes, where he makes full use of his products.

At the end, the guests are encouraged to have a good natter, enjoy the refreshments whilst they fill out the forms for any orders they wish to make.

All in all, a fun, cosy party idea!

Attractive & Fun Products To View At Home Parties

to love and use everyday

These products aren't just about functional, but they are beautiful and of a good quality too. Products that you would be proud to bring to the table. Products that will show off your masterpiece and even make it taste better. They are fun, easy and time saving to use. For instance, the lovely mixing bowls aren't only strong and shiny, but they also have measurements inside so that you know how much you have placed into the bowl and a spout to make pouring it out easy. These little perks could only have been thought of by the renowned chef that Jamie is.

The products have all been commissioned by Jamie and some of them are produced in Sri Lanka, where the proceeds are being used to build schools and other essential facilities for people who have been ravaged by war and famine.

By having the right tools for the job, cooking is certain to be a happier and more successful experience.

This is why I can be enthusiastic about what I sell and bring to my parties. They are lovely products that I am proud of and many of them I use myself!

Jamie's Great Britain

Although his products are exclusive to the Jamie At Home Parties, his books are widely available, such as through this Amazon link. This book was selling at a bargain price at the parties!

The Jamie Oliver Book

Jamie's inspiration for writing this book came from his love of food and his own country and inquisitiveness about where our British recipes originate from. Some surprises along the way!

Running My Own Business

My business

WIth Jamie At Home Parties I have found a new venture that enables me to run my own business with the full support of a team behind me and all the tools that go with it. It means that I can work as little or often as I like, depending on how much work I want to put in. From every sale I earn a commission and I and my host also earn Loyalty Points which can be spent on the products.

I am working with an established brand that people trust if they know about the man behind it. There is the provision of training and rising in the ranks from consultant to manager. It makes me feel that I am working as part of a team even though I have my own business.
