Do you love the taste of pumpkin?

If you can't get enough of pumpkin and just love the unique taste, then this is the place for you. Taste refers to the ability to detect the flavor of a food we are eating so that we can identify it. The taste buds on the tongue and in the throat convey information to the brain about the chemical composition. Sometimes it makes us recoil in disgust if it is something unpleasant or harmful and will therefore be a useful way to warn us off it. Other tastes might bring us a great feeling of pleasure and make us want to eat more of it. We can associate many tastes with good or bad experiences from our past and that is often enough to cause us to like or dislike a food.

Comfort Food

Pumpkin might just be one of those pleasant experiences for your taste buds that give you warm memories of happy family gatherings. They might also reignite in you the feeling of thankfulness for the bounty of provision at the season when you have always eaten them. This could be a good reason to love pumpkins and want their taste and presence to last all year. This is what I have tried to capture here, to bring pumpkin onto your dining table throughout the year, not just at Thanksgiving. Although by keeping it fresh we can retain the flavor, by preserving it we can enjoy it all the year round. Ensure that you place your vote for where you love to taste pumpkin, below!
